INCITE was asked to contribute to a circus themed Faceman Show at 3-Kings Tavern. We decided to create a couple lighting effects and some assorted decorations, but the our main focus was on creating freakshow inspired posters for the stage. The paintings, designed by Lindsay, made touch-in-cheek references to Faceman’s past as well as updating the ‘freaks’ of the classic side shows to modern times, with an ‘untattooed lady’ being more of a rarity in modern times then the tattooed lady. The performance was for one night only, though the poster are still in possession of Faceman.
