Silent film, and the set design of it’s heyday, have been a major influence on INCITE’s work. This paper moon was created with artists like Georges Méliès and F. W. Murnau in mind. Though it was created for a specific event, INCITE has held onto the piece and has from time to time erected in locations it’s least expected. INCITE friend Scott McCormick used the set for a photo shoot inspired by a song he had written. Scott avoids using photoshop, so the lighting you see was done live and the reflection was made using a prism. The picture also features Madelyn as the moon-lounging model.
